What it means to live here and now.
The English term “unalive” is used on social media as a substitute for words such as “die,” “kill,” or “suicide” in order to circumvent censorship measures that remove undesirable content from platforms. Thus, strange sentences emerge, such as: “The soldiers unalived a woman in Gaza.” or “He unalived himself.” Already described as “doublespeak” in George Orwell’s novel 1984, this reflects a deliberate deformation of language — an adaptation to algorithmic logics and invisible powers that increasingly shape our everyday lives.
Everything in the world is an illusion. And sometimes the dead return to life, and time becomes perceptible in a different way. The stage of our reality reveals the fragility of life.
